Greetings, in this Godot video we shall be looking at how to play a video in Godot. Playing a video in Godot is simple and easy. This method will also work in WebGL games. In Unity to play a video in WebGL you need to load the video in a specific way, playing a video in a Godot WebGL project can be done just as you would play a video in Godot for another platform.

To play a video in Godot, you will need a camera and a VideoSteamPlayer node. You will also need an ogv video file. This is the only video file type Godot supports for playback. In your VideoStreamPlayer node you need to drag and drop your video file into the stream field. You also should tick the Autoplay box so the video plays automatically.

That is all you need to do to play a video in Godot 4.
