Plantera [Terraria][Calamity][Revengeance][Master][Melee]

In Terraria (v1.4.3.6), when playing with the Calamity Mod, Plantera is a critical boss to defeat, serving as a pivot point in the game. It unlocks the temple, and monsters in the dungeon begin dropping Ectoplasm, not to mention Plantera's valuable Living Shards, Seedler, and other drops.

I clear an arena large enough to circle and dodge. When the current space is filled with enough poisonous gas, then I shift just to the left or right and repeat. I leave Teleporters in the corners that will warp me to the other side, just in case I get stuck. I also build the arena close to the temple, just for the convenience of fighting later bosses. Typically, I use a larger vertical one, but this time I used a wider horizontal one. The water needs to be deeper than demonstrated here, because it can absorb the bouncy spiky balls, preventing them from being an issue. However, with all of the buffs applied and sufficient dodging, I forgot to even use the Heart Lantern and Healing Potions.

Some vertical stripes (or horizontal for long vertical arenas) of Jungle Wall (purchased cheaply from the Dryad) must be placed periodically to maintain the Jungle Biome identity; otherwise, all background wall should be hammered away, because that is what Plantera grapples to hookshot across the arena. Removing it dramatically reduces her mobility, but leaving a little prevents her from engraging.

The Drunk Princess' candles, Sunflowers, heart lanterns, cake, and sharpening station all provide arena buffs too, while a heart statue on a 1-second timer can provided some much needed relief.
