The diagrams below show how chocolate is made and how the price of chocolate bar is divided up among those involved in the process.

The information related to chocolate manufacturing is displayed in two diagrams given over here. The first image shows the process, whereas the second image is a pie chart.
Overall, different stages of chocolate production are shown in the process starting from cocoa grinding which ends at two different steps making chocolate bars and at the food industry. The cost of chocolate manufacturing is divided into five parts.
Chocolate making starts with grinding of cocoa and waste is separated from it. The next step involves making cocoa liquor which is then divided into two parts one is pressing for manufacturing some ingredients necessary for the food industry, and the other is making industrial chocolate to produce chocolate bars after adding cocoa butter and sugar. The pressed cocoa liquor is than producing cocoa butter and cocoa powder used in food industry.
The cost of making chocolate is depicted in the form of a pie chart. There are five major distributions. The major two parts in the cost are the expenses which include 37% cost of ingredients and overhead and similarly supermarkets share the equal share. The least part is of farmers which is just 4%. Other two almost equal parts are shared by chocolate companies and taxes.
