Reviewing the 1/24 Ferrari 488 Challenge by Bburago

The first time I saw the release pics of this model, I was absolutely stunned by how much detail Bburago had packed into its 1/24 Ferrari line. Naturally, I had to get it even though I had told myself to stop collecting 1/24 Ferraris the moment Bburago decided to seal their hoods 2016 onward (see my F12 Berlinetta review which was the last 1/24 Ferrari with an opening hood Bburago had released). I still ended up buying the 488 Challenge, and I remain very impressed!

Pros:
paint quality (metallic chrome red, no flaking)
authentic race livery
decal print quality
raised windows
70th anniversary etching on the windows
tire wall branding
engine detail

Cons:
engine bay lid does not open
doors are a bit hard to open due to lack of panel gaps and raised windoes
steering wheel does not turn with the front wheels
limited front wheel turn radius
