Ever notice that some folks just plain do things the wrong way? Maybe sitting backwards on a chair, or driving slowly in the passing lane, or hanging the toilet paper roll so it faces the wrong way? That's because our brains are really good at making fast decisions, and really bad at making slow considerate ones. I can tell you, it just breaks the hearts of designers who put a lot of effort into building every step of a process that no one ever really follows. It can also really surprise folks in a majority to learn that folks who are even just a little different from them could end up having a very different experience. This lecture might give you some insight into the problems facing our country today. It might even help you find a little relief.
