A Glorious and Unnecessary Family Vehicle // 2024 Ford F-250 Super Duty

We don't tow, we don't haul, we have no need for the 2024 Ford F-250, and yet we both loved our time with the F-250 Super Duty. Ford trucks are the standard, something Chevy and Ram would take issue with, but it's true. You can tell by the way the Ford F-250 is laid out, the capabilities, the options, the potential. The F-250 Super Duty can do anything and everything you could ever want, and it's intoxicating how easily it fits into your life. We both enjoyed driving it and talking about ways in which it could be our single family vehicle. However, that's ridiculous of course. The Ford F-250 Super Duty capabilities far exceed anything we need on a daily basis, and it's gas mileage with the 7.3 liter V8 is atrocious. So why do people love thest things so much? Why are we just as susceptible to the charms of the F-250 Super Duty as much as the next people? There's a certain freedom and power associated with driving a truck of this size that can do quite literally anything except take on the Tail of the Dragon. Should we get a 2024 Ford F-250 Super Duty? No, not in the slightest. Do we WANT to get a Ford F-250 Super Duty? Well, that's an easy yes.
