UPDATE: As of the 2.0 midpoint patch, this no longer works. Pressing the special move button while dashing cancels the dash.

However, the terrain textures and collision may start glitching. So you probably can't travel as far.

Instructions

Activate the special move (on PC, it's left click and Q). Then dash and while dashing press the special move button(s) again. For example, I'd press left click and Q while holding dash, which is kinda awkward.

Also, you may need at least 3 bow energy.

It should work if the special move icon has returned to the default state (facing left). You'll know it works if your bow energy suddenly jumps back up before it depletes. And you'll definitely know it works if your dash doesn't stop, haha.
