Steam Sales, Patient Gaming, and Why Games Are Still Awesome

So one Steam Sale is over, and another is about to begin.

Whether you are awaking from a fever dream of buying everything on your wishlist and rolling in your new games library, or excited about your 1 or 2 new pickups, Steam Sales still remain special. I am definitely in that 2nd camp these days, but more often than not I'm not participating in Steam Sales much at all.

So as someone who doesn't participate in every Steam sale, and is also as a patient gamer, I want to talk about how I approach Steam Sales when I'm locked and loaded - because I think I've found a way to reignite that child-like joy for buying and playing new games.
