UNYING ARAN FESTIVAL 2021 OF ADI TRIBE AT PARONG VILLAGE, BOLENG, ARUNACHAL PRADESH.

Unying Aran is the most prime and ritualistic festival of the Adis. It marks the arrival of Spring season. There are several festivals integrated into the Unying festival as a whole and as such the festivities stretch upto 3months at a time. The person hosting the festival a particular year has to be well prepared as it involves a lot of expenses and resources including time and energy.It all starts with the men heading to the mountains to hunt and to gather Mithuns for the purpose of sacrifice. This video tries to give you an understanding of this festival and gives you a glimpse of the preparations done a day before the sacrifice of the Mithuns(which will be shown in the Unying 2021 Day2 video to be uploaded next)
