Nylon Hybrid Sound Comparison - Cort Sunset Nylectric Deluxe Vs Cordoba Fusion 14 Rose

I bought a Cort Sunset Deluxe and then I review, compare and banter about it verses the Cordoba Fusion 14 Rose. I talk about Savarez Corum strings. What's not to like?

Update: Jan 11 2024. I fixed it to tune good by replacing the strings to D'Addario Pro-Arté Dynacore right after I made this video. And I have made a bunch of videos since and they are holding up great. Jan 18th 2024: The strings show some fret wear but are holding in tune great and not breaking through the outer windings. So from Dec 16 2023 to Jan 18th the D'Addario Pro-Arté Dynacore strings are holding up to lots of hard playing. I'll let you know what date I do replace them. I think about a month. We''ll see. It's a good test.
January 28th 2024. The strings are holding up great and I am practicing alot. I don't notice any sound degradation yet.

OK March 10 2024 - I still have the D'Addario Pro-Arté Dynacore on. They are holding up good for this endurance test. But I don't think I would play a gig with them now. I think the basses are getting dull sounding. I am going to change them.

The intonation is pretty damn close and better then with the Savarez strings. I also carefully filed the nut to reduce tension and short wound the strings to avoid touching the head stock as best I could. I set the truss rod to what I like, but the A string can still buzz at the 12 fret. The standard bridge saddle is a tiny bit low. I will replace it and it will be killer. It's still a killer guitar and the more I play it the better it gets.
