Here is a brief description about this composition work “A Call From Our Roots”:
The Composition is based on a national song from the region of Lje (Dikranagerd) in Western Armenia. However, this project based on symbols representing the Armenian Genocide and culture in general.

- This composition work is the conclusion of the past 5 works of the project “From Past to Present”. You can find all the works of the project here on my channel.

- The song is remembered by the Armenian genocide survivor Haji Hoseb Hamamjian (Born in Lje, Dikranagerd).

- All the Genocide survivors’ materials in the work are from my father’s Mihran Minassian’s personal collection of Armenian Genocide Survivor's interviews.

- All the photos within the work are from my father’s collection as well. Some of them have also never been published.
