This device is an automated pass-fail inspection microscope that can inspect multi-fiber MPO and simplex single fiber connectors. It includes an automated inspection tool for multi-fiber connectors, a FiberChek Sidewinder probe, MTP and MTP/APC bulkhead tips.

The key controls that enable faster and easier analysis at the end face are Touchscreen Display, Control Buttons for navigating through saved test results, USB-C Interface, FCPT Series Inspection Tips (requires FCPT-UFBPT adapter), Power Button, Magnification/Navigation Control Button, and Action Button.

The FiberChek Sidewinder’s Auto Focus/Inspection Button lets you scan through all the fibers on the multifiber connector and evaluate them and produce the pass/fail test result which will be saved on the device for further evaluation.
