7News obtained a letter sent to Montgomery County Public Schools families from MCPS Interim Superintendent Dr. Monique Felder on June 4.

She called the correspondence an "update on the budget challenges facing MCPS."

Felder referenced an FY 2025 Operating Budget deficit of approximately $30 million.
