This song is a declaration of love to the beautiful country we live in! The national day of Norway is the 17th of May, a day were we celebrate Liberty, Equality and Fraternity in Red, White and Blue. Built on the ideas from the French revolution.

Norwegians all around the world eat ice-cream, walk in parades and unite in love.

National Romance is a term close to heart, I couldn´t be more proud to celebrate such an amazing country every year!

Jørpeland is the town where I´ve been raised, a community built on sweat, blood and tears. We´re all descendants of working men and women who has fought for their dream by hard work and perseverance!

My town is called Jørpeland, but since we now own the famous “Preikestolen” or the “Pulpit Rock” we call ourselves the Pulpit Rock Village. A name that reflects on the people who has made it possible for me to have such an amazing life in a place where you before had to fight for survival.


This song was written for the 17th of may celebration in 2018 were I, my sisters and Lars Bøe performed this song.
