How to wash a tent that smells bad. My smelly ICS Improved Combat Shelter Army tent had a bad odor and I wanted to clean it. My tent must have had mildew or some other problem that caused it to smell dank and musty.

It's easy to wash and clean a tent. Rinsing and drying a tent is the hardest part though.

If you want to remove odor from a tent you'll need to use a soft soap and cold water. You will rinse the tent afterwards. Letting your tent dry is the hardest part.

Cleaning out tent odors is not hard if you are willing to wait for a sunny and or windy day. Just wash the tent smell out leave it in for a while and there it its.

Don't use a washing machine to wash a tent. It's too rough.
