I cannot be trusted around the bread and olive oil herb dip at Carrabba’s.

The hostess seats you at your table, and then it happens…the bread and olive oil herb dip is placed down in front of you. Suddenly, there’s arms flying all over the table tearing open the parchment paper and watching the steam emerge from the hot sliced bread.


It’s truly a delicious sight to behold. But you can’t just sit there and look at it in our family – oh no. This is time for action. Because if you don’t try to get a piece of that deliciousness when it’s first put in front of you, you’re not likely to get anyone at all.


I love the Italian herb dip. My husband loves the herb dip. My kids love the herb dip.


So after all of those dinners spend at Carrabba’s eating that delicious bread and olive oil herb dip, I decided to make it for myself at home.


Word of warning – it has a ton of ingredients. But…it’s an “everybody in the pool” kind of recipe. Meaning, you just dump it all in and stir it on up.

It’s such a simple herb dip recipe to make that’s perfect with any kind of bread you like – although my person favorite is a French bread or something crusty like that. If you're looking for an Italian appetizer, an easy appetizer, or just an olive oil dip for bread, this bread dipping oil recipe is just what you're looking for.

Carrabba’s Copycat Italian Herb Dip Recipe


Ingredients:
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon minced garlic clove

1 teaspoon salt


Mix all ingredients.

Serve 1 tablespoon of herb mix with 1 tablespoon olive oil with bread for dipping.
