In this video, students critically examine the concept of circumscription.

Conceptual Inquiry involves the investigation of abstract concepts such as parallel lines, species, free will and democracy. It cuts across disciplines and is important in order to understand where disagreements really exist and where words just have different meanings for different people.

Inquiry Oriented Education is a form of education aimed at providing students with inquiry abilities, tools, concepts and mindsets in order for them to be able to come up with and clarify questions; come up with claims, justify them and evaluate them.

This video is part of a series of videos taken at a 5 day workshop on Rational Inquiry and Inquiry Oriented Education conducted with 9th Grade students in May 2014. The workshop was conducted by ThinQ (www.schoolofthinq.com) in collaboration with IISER Pune (www.iiserpune.ac.in) with funding from The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
