Mackenzie Shirilla, 19, convicted of murdering her boyfriend Dominic Russo, 20, and friend Davion Flanagan, 19, after plowing her car into a building at 100 miles per hour on July 31, 2022.
Mackenzie was found guilty of four counts each of murder and felonious assault, two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, one count of drug possession and one count of possessing. Shirilla was sentenced, after a 4-day trial that began on Aug. 7, 2023 to two concurrent 15-years-to-life sentences with an eligibility of parole after 15 years served.
