The US continues to be the world leader in economic activity with the S&P 500 sustaining growth over the last few decades. Sure, there are down years. But overall, the S&P 500 continues to grow and when you invest in an S&P 500 Index Fund, your money is almost sure to grow. The S&P 500 stand for the Top 500 U.S. corporations tracked by Standard and Poor's. As benchmark for economic activity and growth, this index has always been set up for sustained growth. You can buy SPp 500 from the Philippines through the US Equity Index Fund offered by a handful of local banks: Bank of the Philippine Islands BPI, Banco De Oro BDO, and Security Bank Philippines. Alternatively, you can also invest in USA Stocks from the Philippines by buying individual stocks. While this gives you higher potential in returns, there is also higher risk.
