From Beijing to the world, this year’s KOD (Keep On Dancing), brought together dancers from across the globe, including South Korea, Japan, France, the United States, the Netherlands and the UK.

In July, Norah, Yarah, and Rosa represented the Let It Happen crew in a unique 4v4 freestyle battle that combined hip hop freestyle and routines. Joining the sisters last-minute was Comfort Fedoke from Los Angeles, a phenomenal dancer known for performing in Missy Elliott’s music videos and live shows, as well as serving as a judge on the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance. Her style, humility, and talent made her an unforgettable teammate. Judged by respected names; Popping Pete (USA), Nelson (France), Super Dave (USA), Mounia (France), and Richie Rich (USA).

This trip was special for many reasons , not only did they compete, but Yarah was invited to judge the Choreography category, and Rosa served as a judge for the Hip Hop Kids category.

Between battles and performances, they took time to enjoy the beauty of Beijing from its impressive skyline and historic landmarks to its welcoming streets and deep cultural heritage. It was extra special to experience this trip as a whole family , with both parents and our youngest sister, Ebo-Jazz (10), alongside us. Since Mum and Ebo-Jazz can’t always travel, having them there made the Beijing experience even more meaningful and unforgettable. “These moments together as a family are priceless”
