Plot Summary
Rangadurai (Muthuraman). Born with a silver spoon, he turns a philanderer. He does not spare any woman in the village; with the result nobody is ready to offer their daughter in marriage, to him. With great difficulty, his father fixes his marriage with a poor girl, Bhavani, not knowing that she had committed suicide, refusing to be a prey to Rangadurai's lust. Her younger sister Devi (K.R. Vijaya) is married to him. The innocent girl undergoes severe torture in the hands of her mother-in-law and sister-in-law. In order to obtain the key given to her by his father, Rangadurai murders her and burns her body. But when he comes home he is shocked to find a look alike of Devi in his house. The true identity of the person living under the guise of Devi is revealed as the story progresses. The fate of Rangadurai and his mother and sister, makes one realize the truth of the dictum, "As you sow, so you reap."
