Does Away Bigger Carry-On Fit in Spirit Baggage Sizer? | Spirit Carry On Sizer Test

TOMTalks tests the Away the Bigger Carry-On in the Spirit Baggage sizer at the airport to answer the question: "Does Away Bigger Carry-On Fit in Spirit Baggage Sizer?" I have never flown Spirit airlines, but based on this sign, it looks like oy can have a carry on item with you, but you must pay for it in advance. It appeared to me that the wheels on the Away the Bigger Carry-On would make the big a little too large for Spirit's limits if they check your bag in the sizer. However, I also have the Away the Expandable Carry-On (the smaller Carry-On size from Away) and that bag is a little smaller so it might fit in this sizer, just based on what I could see by eyeballing how close my Bigger Carry-On was to fitting. Let me know in the comments if you have this bag and if you have successfully taken it on Spirit Airlines. I spied this sizer at the airport before my Delta flight started boarding and I decided to make a video quickly in case someone is wondering about this bag and whether they can take it on Spirit Airlines...I hope this helps!

Below are the measurements on the Bigger Carry-On that I copied directly from Away's website. It looks to me like these measurements are going to barely exceed the amount listed on the Spirit Baggage Sizer which is listed as 22 by 18 by 10. It appears to me that the only thing that exceeds the limits, is the bag is a little bit too tall by 0.7 inches and that is probably why the wheels did not fit completely in the sizer when I tested it in this video. However, I have not flown Spirit before, so I am not sure how frequently they test bags in the sizer before boarding. If you have an experience with this, let others know in the comments!
