The rise of Drill Music in Africa is a rather beautiful one to see, starting first in Kumasi, Ghana(Asaka) and now Nigeria(234Drill).
Officer is the first video Off "RIOT" a joint Project from Nigerian Drill artistes Droxx and Mo’Gunz. Directed by Kumaz, the 234drill pioneers set to make a statement following the viral momentum the earlier released audio has picked up. Shot in Lagos, the commercial hub of Nigeria, the visuals look to highlight excesses of police brutality in the daily lives of the average Nigerian youth. This is a prelude to many more eccentric visuals coming out from the what seems to be the next drill capital of Africa.
