The Office of Restoration and Damage Assessment hosted the first National NRDAR Virtual Workshop in October 2022. The Expanding Your Science Toolbox session presented several tools that may be beneficial to NRDAR practitioners. The session was led by Jo Ellen Hinck, USGS and includes a presentation on the Introduction to Sonar Technology by Aaron J. Delonay, USGS; Living Pilings: Examples for Restoration by Samantha Richman, PhD, USGS; Free Commercial Imagery for your NRDAR Case by Steven Hak, USGS; and Animal Testing Alternatives - What is the Future of Toxicity Testing? by Dr. Patti Bright, Jessica Leet, PhD, and Barnett Rattner, PhD, USGS.
