Someone said it’s divorced girlie summer and I claim that. Thanks to Early Mountain Vineyards in VA for having us. I’ve been going to their tasting room for years and it’s still one of my faves. ⁠

It’s about an hour and a half from DC so perfect for a day trip or you can make it a weekend and rent a cabin nearby. The Shenandoah location for Postcard Cabins is 10 minutes down the road and then you can hike for a day and also spend some time relaxing at the winery.⁠

There’s a substantial and delicious food menu at this winery/tasting room! If you’re like me and want to sit and sip and yap AND eat, this is an ideal spot. You can get more than just pizza or pretzels, the food is fabulous, and the location itself is lovely for a lingering meal and tasting. ⁠
