This stage is pretty fun. You have 4 waves of enemies to contend with to protect your allies and prevent the enemy from reaching the garrisons. You don't lose much if they do enter them however. There's no reinforcements either so once troops guarding an entrance get defeated they're gone for good. Entering the garrisons will just cause the officer to go hyper mode, which the last wave they're all hyper mode anyways.

Also Kotaro's lines are pretty amusing in this stage. I also like that he's compared to the likes of Keiji, Tadakatsu, and Musashi in the intro.
