A much creamier and denser flan! I mixed ingredients in different amounts because I wanted to make flan much creamier and make it taste as if it were baked. I finally did! It just took some adjusting of the original ingredients and adding one wonderful item: cashews! Cashews make everything better, cashews are life!

Ingredients:
(It serves about seven ramekins of about a half a cup)

3/4 cup organic refined sugar (for the caramel base)
2 cups plant based milk
2 tbsp agar agar
1/2 block extra firm tofu (previously pressed)
2 tbsp sugar
1 dash vanilla extract
1/2 cup cashews

Procedure:

Soak the cashews in water for about three hours.
Mix plant based milk with agar agar.
Bring plant based milk to a boil for five minutes, turn fire off.
Place the tofu in the blender.
Add the soaked cashews, the milk you just boiled, the vanilla extract, and sugar.
Blend everything until smooth.
Fill the ramekins with the mixture.
Refrigerate for a few hours until it has set.
To serve, place a plate on one of the ramekins and turn upside down as fast as you can.
