Years after their mother’s breast cancer diagnosis, Tasha and her sister decided to take preventative steps for their own health. It was during that process that they learned they both were already living with the disease.

In this episode of “Rewrite the Recipe,” Tasha opens up to actor, culinary creator, and cancer community advocate Tia Mowry about her breast cancer journey. As Tia reminds us that knowledge is power, Tasha shares how her family’s experience shaped her approach to advocacy. Just as she passes down her mom’s spaghetti and catfish recipe to her children, she’s also passing down a tradition of conversations about health.
