Let’s take an analogy of a cellphone. Can your cell phone survive on the same battery without charging it. The answer is simply “NO”!.
Similar to this, the Human Soul needs to constantly connect with the creator and when you constantly connect with your creator, it keeps you away from doing bad things. Most importantly it gives you an opportunity to connect with your creator Allah 5 times a Day.

Performing prayers is a means of developing a connection with Allah Almighty and when a Muslim does so five times a day, then the relationship is to naturally grow strong.
