5-String Bluegrass Banjo Lesson: "Eight More Miles to Louisville"

Описание к видео 5-String Bluegrass Banjo Lesson: "Eight More Miles to Louisville"

Hear this tune played with guitar rhythm backup (slow, medium, fast) starting at 12:14. Guitar chords (which also work for any other instrument capable of making a chord) are provided on-screen.

This is an instructional tutorial 5-string bluegrass banjo lesson teaching my own version of the popular Country/Bluegrass tune "Eight More Miles to Louisville" written by Louis Marshall "Grandpa" Jones in 1947. My version of this tune is based on my knowledge of the tune, as well as other players' treatments that I've heard. It is in no way meant to be a "definitive" version, as if one actually existed.

On this video I teach the tune lick by lick, measure by measure, using on-screen tablature, then I put it together -- slowly at first, then faster toward the end, adding rhythm guitar audio overlay and on-screen chord prompts. A free downloadable tab sheets (PDF) and play-along tracks (MP3) for this tune, as well as many others is available at my website, www.littlerockbanjo.com.

Hope you enjoy.
