PACKTENNA Field Test at US-7369

I finally got a chance to head out to a park and do a proper test of the Packtenna. This antenna is a work horse! It was a breeze to setup but also performed very well. We were getting solid signal reports from all over the country, and even into France! We started with the 20m EFHW configuration and successfully activated the park. We then added the 40m extension and continued to recieve pile-up after pile-up. We ended the day with a strong contact from a local Ham friend of ours, which had to be ground-wave-propagation. The tear-down was quick and painless and the whole setup packed away nicely back into my backpack. All in all I'd say I am very happy with my Packtenna and I'm looking forward to using it more!
