Solvent weld is difficult to deal with on any blaster that gets assembled with it. It does its job well, holding plastic parts together extremely well and not letting go easily.

One method for getting into a blaster is to simply cut these parts and then open the blaster. However, you can use boiling water along with cold water to break the bond that solvent weld has. This is a better method even if it's not the fastest.
