Meet Your Wagyu began with a simple idea: tell the stories behind the beef.
This video explains why farmer focused storytelling matters in understanding Wagyu in Japan.

Japan is home to more than 40,000 cattle farmers, each with different philosophies, regions, and approaches to raising Wagyu. Meet Your Wagyu was created to document those differences and share the people, farms, and programs that shape what Wagyu really is.

In this episode, we also share a special burger created for Max The Meat Guy. Built entirely around the beef, this burger strips everything back to what matters most. The Wagyu comes from Wakayama Prefecture under the Kumano Wagyu program, a small scale production with roughly 200 head offered per year, known for its deep, beef forward flavor.

You can try this burger at Gui’s Burger for the month of February.
