Bridge is the brain of the ship juat like the cockpit of an aircraft. We, the deck officers are responsible for the same navigation of the ship at all times. And as a 2nd officer, I can say that the bridge is my sole workplace. I am responsible for its upkeep and maintenance, publications, charts, etc.
