CNBC Today AFTER NVIDIA Earnings On NVIDIA, NVIDIA Stock - NVDA Update

Hosts of CNBC and guests discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), and NVIDIA earnings that were reported today after market close. NVIDIA beat on expectations for revenue and EPS, reporting revenue of $30 billion and Non-GAAP EPS of $0.68. Revenue increased 15% QoQ and 122% YoY. NVIDIA's gross margin declined to 75.1% (down from 78.4% last quarter). NVIDIA announced the authorization of a $50 billion share repurchase. NVIDIA's CFO said that samples of Blackwell are shipping to customers now, and that Blackwell's production ramp "is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter and continue into fiscal 2026.” Additionally NVIDIA CFO Colette Kress said that NVIDIA "executed a change to the blackwell gpu mask to improve production yield." NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang later said that the mask change is complete and Blackwell is expected to ship in Q4. Jensen Huang reiterated that demand for NVIDIA's current Hopper chips is strong and demand for NVIDIA's Blackwell is "incredible."
