Sabon Sake, a climate-smart agri-business won the Climate Launchpad Ghana 2019 competition, in Accra. The green business startup focuses on ensuring food security by transforming agricultural waste into soil amendments that regenerate soil health as well as isolate carbon to help mitigate climate change.
Bamboo Composite, an bamboo eco-housing startup, won second place in the competition. Their business is reduce the country's housing deficit by developing affordable eco-housing and communities from bamboo and other climate-friendly composites.
Along other brilliant entrepreneurs from across Ghana, they pitched their climate innovative business ideas in contest for the national title.
