Truck Tours - PGT Trucking's Vintage International TranStar II

The International TranStar® II (CO 4070B) was PGT’s first tractor, providing flatbed transportation to customers throughout the Western Pennsylvania region.

The TranStar II featured Cummins Power, Fuller Transmission, 12,000 lb capacity Front Axle, 38,000 lb capacity Rear Axles, Spring Suspension and was distinguished by its large trapezoidal grille, and windshield wipers mounted from the top of the cab.

As part of PGT’s 40th Anniversary celebration on May 22, 2021, Mr. Gallagher was presented with a fully-restored International TranStar II to help commemorate forty years in the transportation business.

Various parts from three trucks were used to rebuild this vintage replica TranStar at Hill International’s East Liverpool, Ohio body shop. More than 1100 man hours were put into the restoration.

The truck is on display at PGT’s Blairsville, PA terminal and can be seen as you drive by on Route 22.
