COACHELLA (DAY 1)

VIDEO SUMMARY:
Part 1 of 3 (most likely). The rest of the footage still has to be edited but it'll most likely be 3 videos. So anyway this video chronicles my entire Coachella experience. The day begins at 7 am: I make toast, do some work on the computer, load up the truck with all of our gear and clothes and stuff, drive out to the Ritz Carlton, and get set up in our room. Some of this stuff happened off camera -- but you saw the video so I'm just giving you a little backstory 😊. I then do a little talking to camera and we depart the hotel to pick up our credentials for filming. As explained in the video -- you can't simply film stuff at Coachella. HOWEVER, we were given permission by the festival to film the entire experience and promote it on YouTube. Along with this, we were given access to the VIP area of Coachella and thanks to Lexie we were even given access to the exclusive viewing section right in front of the Main Stage. SO, long story short -- we had to collect our credentials for filming and then we headed out to the show. Once there, we met up with Lexie who (like always) was super sweet and a wonderful person to guide me through my first Coachella experience. THANK YOU LEXIE!!!

So after meeting up at the YouTube Lounge, we went searching for some food. We decided to eat at Monty's Good Burger as that's Lexie's restaurant (and I'd had it before and it was amazing).
QUICK SIDE NOTE: Monty's Good Burger legitimately offers the best plant based food I've ever experienced -- if you ever have the opportunity, I'd advise you give them a shot. ALSO I'm not being asked to plug this restaurant chain -- I just happen to love their food. Now, back to the events of day 1. After we had some food we headed towards the Main Stage where Phoebe Bridgers (among many others) was playing a set. I had never heard her music before and I was blown away. After watching her set, we decided to head back to the YouTube live lounge to relax. And there you have it! I hope you enjoyed the video -- I have a lot more footage to comb through for days 2 and 3 so look out for those videos.
