Here’s my next before and after video. NJ Transit 4109 Central Railroad of New Jersey 🗽 Heritage Unit was released in Last Quarter of 2019 to commemorate the 40th Anniversary after being selected after 4 years of non-revenue service. It the original EMD Bronze Bell was swapped into the EMD Steel Bell. The Raised Letter K5LA was used since 2013 (NJT Disco Stripe Paint Scheme). It’s first debuted (returned to service) in December 2019 as well as the Tri-State Santa Train, double headed with NJT 4100. And continues until September 2022. 4109 was sent to United Railroad Historical Society at Boonton, New Jersey for Railroad Museum [For a Day] on Sunday, September 25th, 2022, the day that I went to. The following week, NJT 4109 was went to the MMC Shops at Kearney, New Jersey for NJ Transit Family Day, along with NJT 4636 “Pennsylvania” Bombardier ALP-46A, NJT 4609 “Ride with Pride” Adtranz ALP-46, and 4502 “Armed Forces” 🦅🇺🇸, but except 4519 “Erie Lackawanna” Bombardier ALP-45DP was still at RVL from Newark to Raritan. And NJT 4101 was repainted into NJDOT, and entered on the following month. Back to NJT 4109. NJT 4109’s Raised Letter K5LA was swapped into the Tampa Leslie RS3L Airhorn, and then returned to revenue service. The following month, NJT 4109’s EMD Steel Bell was swapped into NJT 4101’s EMD Bronze Bell while NJT 4101 the NJDOT Heritage Unit the Leslie SU3L and 4104’s old EMD Bronze Bell. And the 2 GP40PH-2’s and its famous Heritage Units leading the Tri-State Christmas Train on the 3rd on the Main/Bergen County Line, and on the 10th from Wayne to Denville. I’m glad that ‪@ZachTheRailfannerYT‬ caught on the 10th, unfortunately I didn’t show up because I was busy watching the 2022 FIFA World Cup at Qatar 🇶🇦.
