53 - New Fan Clutch

After 12 years, I finally solved a problem! Since this bus was brand new, the fan clutch had been bad. Thus it was always engaged and loud as can be. Well, I fixed it! Along with some other minor repairs, I fixed some issues with her bus. So I had to test drive her.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know what you're thinking. No. Let me just say that first, no. No I wasn't trying to dog the bus. No I wasn't trying to mistreat the bus. I simply had to attempt to get it hot and make sure the clutch would engage. You've got to make sure that the vehicle, with any mechanics, will perform as it should. You've got to test the limits because an operator will always find some way to damage the vehicle.

This is a 2006 IC CE with a DT466. Need I say anymore?
