Описание к видео Our Lady Of Assiut - All Apparitions Compiled

Advert: My English may be difficult to understand because it is not my English but Google Translate.

(For some reason, the Portuguese Wikipedia has more content than the English version;)

For context: Our Lady of Assiut is the name given to a series of apparitions of the Virgin Mary reported between the years 2000 and 2001 in Assiut, Egypt. In Assiut, Egypt, it is believed that the Holy Family was hidden for most of the time – around six months – while the persecutions started by Herod took place, following the visit of the Magi. They would have taken shelter near Dronka Mountain, a place that is visited by many pilgrims today.
On August 17, 2000, a Muslim woman walking near St. Mark's Coptic Church saw a woman on the roof of the church. She then began walking between the two minarets. She assumed it was an ordinary woman trying to commit suicide or remove the cross affixed to the church's dome, prompting her to rush immediately to notify officials. A crowd quickly gathered around the church to observe what was later determined to be a supernatural apparition, identified as the Virgin Mary.
News and photographs of the apparitions were published by several newspapers. During masses, the presence of lights and doves was reported by the faithful near the icons, which were located on the church altars. These phenomena were also frequent during the apparitions, which occurred outside the temple. The presence of lights during apparitions has also been reported.
Only Mary's face was visible, while her body was enveloped in light. She gestured to the crowd, appearing to bless the thousands of faithful who watched her. The presence of a sweet smell of incense was also reported.
The phenomena ceased on April 4, 2001, when thousands of people were present around the Coptic church of St. Mark, witnessing the phenomena.
The Coptic Orthodox Church approved the apparitions after a committee formed by Coptic priests from Assiut, held on October 13, 2000. On December 10, Pope Shenouda III also officially confirmed the apparitions.

(I obtained the videos here. The text is provided by someone who appears to be very connected to his faith; his enthusiasm is evident as he writes. The author claims to have been in Assiut during the apparitions. - I would like to put the text here, but unfortunately the description has a character limit.)

(Another interesting record.)
