Hello, everyone! Welcome to my channel. Today, I'm going to show you a popular tourist spot in China, the Zibo Hongye Shiyan Scenic Area.
Located in Boshan District, Zibo City, Shandong Province, the Zibo Hongye Shiyan Scenic Area sits at an altitude of 691 meters and spans 4,000 mu (about 263 hectares). The scenic area features a variety of attractions, including a National Geographic exploration camp, winding bamboo forests, the perpetually flowing Lushen Spring, a dreamlike time-space tunnel, a thrilling glass water slide, and the famous Wucai Pool, known as the "Mini Jiuzhaigou of Central Shandong." This location has also served as a filming site for well-known TV dramas like the 1983 version of The Story of Wu Song and Green Waters and Smiling Mountains.
The site’s development plan includes the Qi Great Wall Cultural Corridor, a colorful glass walkway, a Glass Park, and the Chinese Shandong Cuisine Museum, all designed to create the "Glass Life Village at the Foot of the Qi Great Wall." Through themes of "Mountain Scenery, Waterside Charm, Fiery Culture, and Earthly Flavors," the area integrates multiple cultural elements into its design.
The Zibo Hongye Shiyan Scenic Area is a national 3A-level tourist site and has earned several honors, including the "Preferred Project of Shandong's New and Old Growth Drivers Transformation," a spot on the 2021 Cultural and Tourism Trends List as a Rural Revitalization Demonstration Project, and recognition as a top rural tourism destination by China National Travel in 2022. It was also selected as one of the top 10 rural revitalization examples in the province, with the host village (Heshangfang Village) included on the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s "National Great Wall-Themed Tourist Route."
