Blind Landings w/ Josh Young | The School of West Rock

Описание к видео Blind Landings w/ Josh Young | The School of West Rock

Landing blind with a backside 180 is a foundational wakeboard trick to take your riding to the next level. Whether you're learning this trick on flat water, off a small box, or off a kicker you'll want to add this to your bag of tricks this season.

Do you only wakeboard behind a boat? There are definitely some tips from this trick tutorial that translate, and will really help you land blind wake to wake or on flat water. Jumping wake to wake and off of a kicker have very different mechanics so some of this will not perfectly translate.

Study this trick, and take it to the water. Comment below to let us know how it goes or if you have any additional questions!

Josh Young is a local lapper who helped build West Rock into what it is. He is probably in the top 10 of riders in the US for most laps ridden. He hasn't been riding for many years, but due to a ton of hard work, countless laps, crashes, persistence, and natural talent has become a rider that can hold his own with many pros.

Disclaimer: The School of West Rock wakeboard trick tips are not designed to be exhaustive. We understand that there are many ways to get to the same destination and, of course, wakeboarding can result in serious injury or death.
