Скачать или смотреть Iranian Parliament Speaker visits Beirut, vows Iran will support Lebanon with "all its strength"

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, arrived in Beirut on Saturday morning amid an ongoing Israeli aggression on the country.

He is the second high-ranking Iranian official to visit Lebanon since the start of the aggression after Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

Qalibaf on Saturday visited one of the sites of the Israeli airstrikes that hit central Beirut.

The strikes hit the Lebanese capital on Thursday in the evening, killing 22 and wounding over 100.

Later, Qalibaf gave a press conference after meeting with the Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has intensified in recent weeks, with Israel bombing southern Lebanon, Beirut's southern suburbs and the Bekaa Valley, killing many of Hezbollah's top leaders, and sending ground troops across the border.
