5 Vintage Natural Dye Colors From One Blackberry Dye Bath || Botanical Dye || 2 Colorfastness Tests

In this video I'm using DIY copper solution, iron solution, washing soda / soda ash, (this is not regular washing detergent) and citric acid to modify blackberry botanical dye on fabrics mordanted in alum. Also, 2 colorfastness tests.

• Pls excuse the poor lighting – I need new equipment.
• Botanical fabric dyes can be used to dye any natural fibers - wool, silk, cotton, linen, etc., but I experimented with other natural craft items such as tulle / netting, corn husks, real cotton buds, wooden skewers.
• I washed the dyed fabrics with dishwashing liquid (dishwashing liquids are milder than regular detergent)
• Colorfastness test: It is the middle of winter so there’s not much sunlight – I used 11 ½ hours of lamplight and 4 hours of sunlight
The pH level of my faucet water is between 7 & 8
