NABU and SAPO uncovered a scheme to seize land worth 123 million: the suspicion was reported to the current people's deputy.

The NABU message does not disclose the name of the people's deputy involved. However, the Anti -Corruption Center clarified that the suspect is Robert Gorvat.

According to the investigation, in 2016-2019, the people's deputy influenced officials of the Main Directorate of the State GeoCadastre of one of the regions and developed a scheme for taking over land plots with a total area of 323 hectares, which were in constant use of the state-owned enterprise. The investigation estimates the damage caused to the state at UAH 123 million.

Three more persons involved in the commission of this crime are under suspicion - the former head of the State Geocadastre State Administration of one of the regions, the ex-director of a state-owned enterprise and the director of a private enterprise.

The charge provides for imprisonment for a term of 7 to 12 years with a ban on holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities for up to three years and confiscation of property.

The issue of choosing a preventive measure for him is currently being decided.
