** This was quite literally my first try with this loadout/mechanics setup, there is room for optimization. I was running single phase damage testing at the Sere encounter with various Prismatic and Strand loadouts and compel/defeat combinations. When I moved on to this it performed better than I actually anticipated, so I finished out the 2-phase just to see if I could do it. I will revisit this after doing Praxic Time Trials with friends.**

This video serves as a "proof of concept" of a 2-phase defeat of Dredgen Sere using a Solar Titan with Stronghold and Praxic Blade. This is a slight alteration to the weapons used in my Solo 2-Phase Harrow, Dredgen Apprentice video (    • Solo 2 Phase Harrow, Dredgen Apprentice: S...   ), using a variation of the same build. This one build can be used for a full run of the Dungeon for the purposes of the Praxic Time Trial or for a Solo run, including Solo Flawless. It was easier to Solo 2-Phase Sere than it is with Harrow.

I was testing 4 compel / 1 defeat here, and do pretty much exactly half of Sere's health in a phase. I did leave some damage on the table in the first DPS phase, and ended up having poor timing for the last Radiant buff refresh. In hindsight, there was plenty of time to apply Radiant at the very beginning of the phase, and fire the entire Magazine of Explosive light GL. The Second phase timing/rotation was better. I fired 6 out of 7 Explosive light grenade launcher rounds, then swapped to Praxic Blade to finish out the phase. I could have fired the seventh/last explosive light GL round as well, there was plenty of time.

Don't use the DPS setup mechanics as shown in this video, as I was assessing positioning and timing using this build, as I typically use a Strand / Wishful Ignorance build. I spent a considerable amount of time assessing the best place I could stand to build "Perfect Guard x100", which I believe the spot, or similar, to the one I try at 15:44 will be best. Also don't use the DPS rotation I was trying in the first phase, it was not optimal. Second phase was closer to optimal. Below I lay out what I believe is the optimal DPS rotation.


Optimal DPS Tech When Solo (4 Compel / 1 Defeat setup):
1.) Right before shooting the last taken blight/ball to start the DPS phase, build Perfect Guard Stacks to x100, and damage an enemy to trade them in for 24 seconds of Restoration x2. Make sure there is a sunspot at your feet, then shoot the blight/ball to start DPS. As the transfer from the Shadow Realm to the Normal Realm is happening, strafe fully in and out of the Sunspot to refresh the timer on restoration x2 as much as possible to start the encounter.

2.) Immediately upon spawning into the Normal Realm, use throwing hammer for Radiant (Bonk) followed by a magazine of Explosive Light heavy grenade launcher. Approach Sere as you fire the GL volley. Swap to Praxic Blade and perform two "sword storm combos".

3.) Once that initial combo is done, use your healing grenade, this will refresh Restoration x2 for the remainder of DPS Phase. If you pull this off correctly, you can 100% fully ignore Sere's "Hands" attack for the full duration of DPS, allowing you to do considerable more damage.

4.) For the remainder of the DPS phase, the optimal combination is to use throwing hammer to refresh Radiant, followed by 4 full "sword storm combos" with Praxic Blade. Repeat until Damage phase is done*

DO NOT REFRESH RADIANT AFTER THRESHOLD.
