Key Fob Repair - Ram or other types

This video describes a simple repair to a key fob which has ceased to function correctly. In this one, the little dome switches detached from the rubber key pad interior and slipped away from the contact points on the circuit board. After some experimenting with various glues to reattache the domes to the rubber key pad, I simply cleaned everything up and taped the domes in position over the switchpads. Easy and very effective. Be careful when disassembling the fob as the parts are small and easily lost! Change the battery too while you have it apart. This fix reduces the $2-300 cost of replacement to the cost of a couple of inches of Magic tape. Good luck!
