New Hampton High School expanded their existing building during the summer of 2018 to provide space for new athletic facilities, classrooms, a shop department and a new Middle School wing.

Advanced Precast Company produced 207 panels for the project including insulated architectural wall panels for the exterior portion of the building and structural wall panels for the interior rooms. The panels vary in sizes ranging from 14 to 28 feet in height. Insulated architectural wall panels were designed with a red thin-brick veneer to contrast the existing white brick exterior of the high school. A circled drive-through entrance showcases the modern appearance of the New Hampton Middle School wing by displaying the building’s sharp contrast of colors and textures with a silver metal sign overlay, dark beams and red brick veneer.

Precast concrete was chosen for the design of the project due to its versatile architectural capabilities. Utilizing precast concreteinsured fast erection times with a stunning brick exterior finish –enabling the project to be completed in half the construction time required by other construction materials.
