Welcome to Edinburgh, Scotland, regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Its historic heart, the Old Town is one of the most striking and architecturally significant in the world and what better way to explore it than on foot?

Today's walk covers the "Old Town", Edinburgh's oldest area, dating back to medieval times and lined with narrow alleyways, wool shops, pubs and historical landmarks. This one-hour walking tour follows the most popular route, beginning at Lawnmarket and bottom end of Castlehill, then continuing down to Grassmarket, the picturesque Victoria Street, Cockburn Street and back to the Royal Mile to High St, concluding outside the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
